Chartwell Domaine des Trembles

Hello Domaine des Trembles! I would like to take this opportunity on Valentine's Day to tell you, on behalf of myself and my siblings, how much we appreciate all the kind attention and excellent care you provide to our mother, Georgette. You inaugurated the Care Unit a little over a year ago, and my mother was one of your new residents in this essential wing. She is very happy there and constantly tells us how kind everyone is to her and how much she loves her new home. For us children, it's wonderful to hear such comments. Especially since she is becoming increasingly forgetful, but she never forgets the staff's kindness. She has lived on three floors at Domaine des Trembles since arriving with my father 17 years ago. When my father passed away, she was able to move to another apartment better suited to her independent living. Even there, all the services were in place to address the growing challenges of her autonomy. There's a vibrant atmosphere at the Domaine, even for those who can't attend all the parties as often! My in-laws have just moved in and so far, everything is great. We really enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch....the food was good and the service even better. My FIL comments that he is very satisfied and my MIL comments that it feels like a hotel, not a residence, and the service is amazing. She is enjoying it more than she thought she would.

Very good residence. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 but obviously that an option. Overall, happy with the services. The full-time staff, specially the front desk, entertainment and head nurses, are very kind, professional and attentive and the food is superb :) Like any other organizations these days, they have their challenges specially with temporary staffs but management does its best to address issues. Thank you for taking care of my mother the past few years.

Our family has had a loved one staying here for close to 20 years. This place is going is down hill fast. Our loved one has been unable to participate in any social activities for weeks at a time due to a failing elevator. She is of reduced mobility like many other senior living here. A broken elevator for 3 weeks in this type of establishment is completely unacceptable! Think twice before moving a loved one here. Also for fun try calling the head office for Chartwell. It's almost as bad as trying to reach a government organization. It's impossible to speak to management.

I am very happy to share with you my views of Domaines Des Trembles where my mother has been living since the start of the pandemic. A VERY dedicated and warm and competent staff. While all residences have been challenged to the extreme over the past several years, I am so grateful my mom has been there. A huge thank to everyone , and I mean everyone , who make such a diffence in my mom's and our family's daily life. The empoyees really work as a team and make every effort to do everything possible to support the residents. I would highly recommend considering this establishment for you or your loved ones. Many thanks again to the management and staff - you make a huge difference to everyone and their families living at Domaines Des Trembles.
