Chartwell Le Normandie

The worst care I've ever seen... I wish no human being could have the care my grandfather received there. I worried so much for my grandfather the entire time he lived at Chartwell Le Normandie. I so wished he could have ended his days in a more humane, more caring place that was more attentive to his illness. I love you, Grandpa🤍 Rest in peace... I know that now we have nothing to worry about and that you are well.

Having been a resident for almost 3 years, it's great to live at Chartwell. My health has improved, there are lots of activities, and I participate in all those recommended for my well-being. I feel surrounded by both residents and staff. What can I say about the food? I'M HAPPY!!!!! We have plenty of choices. The staff and management are dedicated and attentive.

I am extremely disappointed with this residence. My father paid $4,798 per month for a nursing unit, but the quality of care was very poor. The staff wasn't even able to detect a urinary tract infection or discomfort, which is simply unacceptable. The residents spend a lot of time alone, without any stimulation or appropriate activities, which is detrimental to their well-being. Furthermore, the residence uses an agency for nursing staff, which means it's always a different person and there's no continuity of care. For this price, I expected professional and compassionate care, which is clearly far from the case here. I do not recommend this residence.

This place should be avoided if you have a loved one in need of care. After going there a few times to visit my brother-in-law, I quickly realized that he was left to his own devices and without adequate care. High staff turnover. Mediocre care. Nothing compared to other residences I've experienced. Luckily, his daughters were very present to ensure their father had some dignity. His daughter had to insist on requesting transport via the hospital for her father, who was in very poor condition. This poor man never returned to the residence... Gross negligence

We have been residents at Château Well le Normandie since August 1, 2025. We are very satisfied. The food is excellent. The services are excellent, lots of activities. We don't even have time to participate in everything we would like to do. It's super pleasant. Welcome to all new people who are interested in coming to join us.
