I recently helped my parents move into the Chartwell Shawinigan and wanted to share my experience. The residence is remarkable: located on the banks of the Saint-Maurice River, it's clean, welcoming, and offers superb common areas on the ninth floor, as well as a cafeteria with a stunning view. The menu is varied and delicious, with suggested meals or à la carte options, depending on the chosen package. The staff support was exemplary. The leasing agent was cheerful, courteous, and very professional from the very first visit. After we moved in, she provided efficient and kind assistance in resolving some personal issues. The parking attendant also offered invaluable support. I highly recommend the Chartwell Shawinigan, both for the quality of its facilities and for the professionalism and dedication of its staff.

Safe spaces for seniors. A bit pricey, but overall we received good service. There's access to a meeting room for events and also a bowling alley (reservations required). However, we had problems with both. First, no one was at reception for about thirty minutes at our reservation time, so we had to wait in the hallway with all our belongings. Second, the bowling alley had trouble collecting the pins.
