Château Pierrefonds

My mother Jacqueline, was a resident at the Château Pierrefonds for 8 years! My family and I were extremely impressed with the care and attention the staff, employees, and volunteers showed her. I always felt welcomed at the Château any time or day that I visited. We were always kept informed about how mom was doing… I have to mention how careful they were during the Covid outbreak and how the residents were their priority! I often mentioned to them that the government should be coming to them for instructions on what to do! No joke! When Covid did show itself they were quick with their response! I still thank them to this day… I can go on and on with examples of their care and concern they showed throughout my mother’s stay! So, a very heartfelt Thank You to everyone at the Château! Rick F.

From my experience, probably the best place you can find in the West-Island of Montreal, so glad my father has chosen this residence, familly owned with a caring team, they truly care for your loved ones! The owners are there in their office every day, that alone tells a lot on how much they care. My father was blessed to be able to pass such time in this amazing residence! Definitely recommend it to everyone, and they are really affordable with no suprise fees, compared to others residence I inquired. I will never thank enough Monique and Pierre(the owners) and the whole team at Chateau-Pierrefonds for the care they provided to my father, and the help and peacefulness they provided to our familly! Our dad experienced 4 1/2 wonderful years, a place he called home, Château Pierrefonds. The outside and inside is extremely well maintained. The home is filled with nice antiques, which bring you back to the simple things of life!! Large bird cases are filled with colourful, chirping finches & budgie birds. Fluffy, a calm, social, loyal Golden-doodle wanders around the home and is company and therapeutic to many residents. Our dad always enjoyed a visit from Fluffy! He was always treated with dignity and respect by administration and staff. His daily care was attended to by knowledgeable staff members with kindness, empathy, and patience. Monique and Pierre are on-site and readily available to answer all questions or address any of your concerns. They are very involved with the residents and ensure that their staff provides a safe and loving environment for all residents. The nurses and entire health care staff are very informative and attentive when it comes to health concerns, as well as, the administration of daily medications. Lise is friendly and very efficient with coordinating all medical appointments for the residents and informing the responsible family member. Nathalie demonstrates her compassion and dedication by ensuring that all residents experience “la joie de vivre” with the monthly “Health and Leisure Program”. Fun is had by all! Our dad’s spacious room was cleaned daily and fresh linens were provided. The laundry service was very much appreciated. Our dad enjoyed many on-site indoor/outdoor activities and weekly outings. He always looked forward to his daily home cooked meals. Afternoon coffee/tea and baked goods are always served with a smile. Our dad had many memorable friendships and enjoyed the time spent together. His family enjoyed many outdoor visits on the prestigious grounds of Château Pierrefonds. Many days were spent rocking on the patio swings and chatting. The sound of the waterfalls are very serene and relaxing. The location is perfect, as situated across from a park, where you can take leisurely walks or sit on a bench and enjoy the view of Rivière des Prairies. Our family was always welcomed and we too felt comfortable every time we visited or attended family celebrations. We were also part of the Chateau Pierrefonds Family and got to enjoy the friendships of many residents and their families. We had lots of laughs and great conversations with the staff. Our dad and his family will forever cherish the joy, comfort and peace of mind, which we all experienced at Château Pierrefonds.❤️. We are all truly going to miss a place dad and we called home.💔
