3.8 / 5My mother and other relatives are there. It is a great facility with plenty of services. The residence is clean with lots of things to do. Bowling, gym, pool, billiards, crafts room, wood shop, several games an meeting rooms, on-site Bank, hair dresser, movie theater restaurant dining room and underground access to a pharmacy. During the whole covid nightmare, ther may have been 3 deaths over the 2+ years vs. 30 to 100 at other residences in the area because it had tight controls and adequate staff. If someone got sick, it was from outside the residence.
Very nice, spacious apartments (plenty of storage), clean and well-equipped (stove, refrigerator, etc.). Interesting activities of all kinds (swimming, bowling, cinema, art classes, choir, etc.) are available nearby, along with shops (IGA Extra, Pharmaprix, Marius et Fanny, etc.). The dining room serves good, home-style food, and the staff is very friendly.
My 90-year-old mother chose this residence after several months of hesitation. Since then, she has been delighted and has regained her confidence. She appreciates the quality of the services, the welcome at the reception, the cleanliness of the premises, and the kindness of the residents. Her apartment is spacious (3 and a half) and well-ventilated with an air exchanger, which greatly helps relieve her emphysema. Her grandson is happy to take advantage of the recreational facilities when he visits. Lachine is a municipality that is progressing in terms of quality service. The proximity of Lake Saint-Louis is a plus in the location of this residence.
We were at the New Year's Eve dinner with family and in-laws! What a disappointment this meal was. We had to refrain from eating the pie, which had a sour aroma. We had been to buffets before and these were much better. Since the change of chef, the meals no longer seem to be of the same quality. What a shame. In addition, it seems that many of your residents are dissatisfied with the meals. Even if they are elderly, their voices should be listened to carefully because they are your customers!
This is the worst New Year's Day with my parents, seeing that they're serving us this kind of food: meat pie on a small, stuffed roll, inedible. It's all very nice, the pool, billiards, bowling, but those are just activities for me. The important thing is that we eat well. Mr. President of this establishment, to your attention
