Manoir Belle Époque

We found the care provided at Belle Époque to be excellent due to the care and compassion shown by those who work in administration as well as the caretakers. Thank you, Belle Époque.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Sandra and all of the staff who cared for my dad- most excellent care ever!!! They go out of their way to treat residents and their families like family. Very clean facilities also.

The worst residence I've ever seen. After only three weeks, I had to find another residence for a family member. Nothing but lies and hypocrisy perpetuated there. A "manager" who tries to portray herself as the "boss," but who clearly has no control over her employees (kitchen and evening attendants) who do whatever they want, however they want. She constantly repeats that she'll fix the problems, but they never do. And the evening attendants prefer to sit around playing games in the cafeteria rather than helping an elderly person who needs assistance. For her part, the "manager," who ultimately isn't responsible for anything, doesn't seek out the other side of the story and doesn't ask to speak to witnesses either. They constantly play with words to fit their perspective, which is completely the opposite of reality. The "manager," in front of witnesses, repeatedly promised not only to the elderly resident but also to me, an arrangement regarding the departure, only to then invent any excuse to justify yet another lie. This "manager" takes it upon herself to offer things she has no authority to do. As a result, she puts a 91-year-old in distress, causing her enough stress to send her to the emergency room at the Montreal Heart Institute. Respect and dignity are clearly secondary concerns at this residence. I would like to understand why someone is put in a position of "responsibility" who takes liberties when, in reality, she has no decision-making power over what she proposes and promises. If the management of this residence claims to have lost money, they should have turned to their "manager," not the elderly resident. The problem created by this "manager" was deflected onto someone who was deliberately deceived. And reading the other comments, I see we're not the only ones who were scammed out of more than $3,000. We trusted this "manager," and we shouldn't have. We believed her when she told us she wanted the elderly person in question to be happy. We were far from expecting this malicious turn of events, causing a multitude of problems of all kinds and a second move in less than a month for a 91-year-old. Manoir la Belle Époque, a residence to avoid at all costs... An exorbitantly priced residence where there's a "manager" who promises all sorts of things that never materialize.

Best retirement facility ever! July 12 2022 If there were more stars available for our rating I would give them all to the Manoir La Belle Epoque. My mother has been living there since mid March & I have to honestly say she has never looked better. Our mother had special requirements that had to be added on to the basic services in terms of medications/medical & dietary needs & the administration (especially Sandra) & staff always went above and beyond to accommodate her and meet her needs. No request was denied. The care she receives from the Manoir is absolutely the best. I cannot believe the bad reviews. Everyone from the chefs to the staff take Xtra special care of her. She has developed a friendship with everyone including staff and other seniors residents...they're like one big happy family! There's an on site doctor available at certain times of the month, & nurses & orderlies always available to take care of her needs. The activities director is really nice & takes care of everyone always ready to make everyone participate & have fun. The food is always abundant! They are very well fed (very nice portions of food & always served nice & warm). The facility itself is spotless and always extremely clean. It's a pleasure to visit her! The ambiance, what can I say...everyone is so happy! Thank You so much Manoir Belle Epoque for taking excellent care of our mother!
