Résidence Cité Rive

I had the opportunity to stay in the Cité Rive apartment hotel, a very beautiful, well-furnished, and very functional apartment. It's a beautiful, clean, and well-appointed residence. The residents are very friendly. I recommend it!

I was interested. Linda Larrivée always called me when I was at work. I left a message for her saying I was available. She continued to call me when I couldn't answer. I was forced to block her in the end because I felt harassed by all her calls. Plus, she sent me several emails. One weekend, a friend and I went to this residence without an appointment. When it was the same Linda who was going to meet us, I told my friend to leave HIS name and speak for both of us. I was disappointed with the decor. It was old, and there were many things not included in the rent. The parking lot was huge, with all the complexes attached and far from the entrance gates. Plus, the residence is isolated and difficult to find. Not for me. Please, Ms. Larrivée, if we don't give you a sign of life, it's because we're not interested. It would be appreciated if you could stop calling us (to me it's harassment) all the time. Thank you.

I moved out of a place where the landlords smoked, and I have serious lung problems. I was constantly going to the emergency room. They promised me at Cité Rive that I wouldn't have this problem, but the day I moved in, I started having breathing difficulties. Just across the hall from the elevator, the air smelled like ashtrays. I called the receptionist, and she told me there was a ventilation problem. She had no solution to offer. It's ridiculous.

This residence claims on its website to offer families comprehensive support and assistance for semi-autonomous individuals. It's a lie. I called when my aunt needed help, and no one came to assist her. When I complained, I was told they don't offer any assistance, to call the CLSC (local community health center), and that they're experiencing a staff shortage. There is someone at reception 24/7, but this person let my aunt go outside without a coat and in slippers to take a taxi in the winter, when it was -28°C, without intervening or asking her where she was going. Do not entrust the health of your loved ones to this residence. As soon as someone loses even a little autonomy, they are completely ignored, and the residence will refuse to help you until they are placed in a long-term care facility, all while continuing to collect your fees. Shameful.

Very nice, clean residence with courteous customer service. Very varied dining room menu. Many activities and leisure options. The multi-service center has many carefully selected professionals. Friendly atmosphere among the employees.
