This is a great place to visit, Tallest light house of Canada and most beautiful I have ever seen. The best time to view this stunning historic landmark is during sunset or sunrise. The best view point I think is down to the beach.

I went there in late of August , however the ticket counter was closed & it was told that the season is over , although August is literally summer. Some visitors also kept waiting outside, didn't know what to do. A huge tourist bus came & they went inside. All the lighthouses in Gaspe were just like this, only open for special guests or campers. But they didn't inform it in advance & everybody went to a lighthouse & couldn't enter & became disheartened. Only the lighthouse of Forillon National Park was open for all visitors .

Great joke to the lighthouse. There are some significant hills to get here, but well worth the trek!

Absolutely stunning place. We were here twenty years ago. Just as beautiful now. This time I got to fly my drone over it. Amazing.

It was closed, we took a few photos from outside at afar. We learnt later that you can take good lighthouse photos from the Du Banc trail.
