Résidence La Cité des Tours

We were very disappointed by the lack of communication between management and the nursing staff. Our father was often neglected, both in terms of his personal care and his medical treatment. There was no staff stability despite numerous promises from management. However, the staff themselves are not to blame, but they were clearly insufficient for the number of patients in the Signature ward. Despite all this, the bill for care and the room rental was exorbitant and kept increasing. Before his death, our father received care in the public system, and we were able to see how much better that care was in every respect.

I called three times to schedule a rental appointment, spoke to the receptionist twice, and left messages requesting a callback. After waiting for over ten days, I still hadn't received a call back. I called again and left another message, saying it had been almost two weeks since I'd been waiting for a return call. They finally called back without any apology for the delay, but made sure to tell us they were fully booked, without even knowing what we wanted. Very poor rental service. If they treat seniors the way they treat the rental department...

I've never been there, but I have to admit that the result of the construction of the residence complex is very pretty. Especially when I learned that part of the old Singer factory building was integrated into it.... it's really great! But it's still sad to have lost the "number one" building for urban exploration!

Excellent daily service from the care staff on the floor in the Signature section. Unfortunately, upon our mother's passing, we received no expression of sympathy, no representative at the funeral home, no flowers, no cards from the administrative services, no offer to gather other resident friends in her memory, no support, no assistance when clearing out the apartment... nothing. The way the administrative staff of La Cité des Tours and Groupe Maurice handle the passing of a resident needs to be rethought. Beyond the excessively expensive contract that has ended, there is the grief experienced by the loved ones, and they completely failed to address this.
