I would like to correct two reviews here. The one-star review for the post office is inappropriate, as it is not managed by the residence management, but by Canada Post. Secondly, the person who gave one star for the meal service may not have considered that it was during the COVID-19 pandemic and that many things were disrupted during that time. In my opinion, these two one-star reviews should not be taken into account. My 94-year-old father has lived here for 10 years and is very happy. He has a large 3½ apartment with heated indoor parking and a large storage locker (in the basement). There is a laundry service, a swimming pool, pool tables, a library, a workshop, etc. Recreational activities are very well organized. Respect and courtesy are everywhere! If I lived in Montreal, I would definitely choose to live here with my partner! A big thank you to the Sisters of Charity and the staff.

I contacted the post office located there to find out the price for a personal address change. The woman who works for Canada Post gave me a rough estimate; I don't know if I woke her up. I don't understand why they don't give a fixed price. I called another post office on Fleury Street where a nice lady gave me a fixed price. Thank you, ma'am.

I own a cat and it's accepted. I won't sacrifice it for another life.

There is no longer a meal service at this residence, despite the fact that residents signed a lease with this service! In short, the residence did not renew the contract with their caterer because they found it too expensive; they are therefore more concerned with their own profits than the well-being of the residents, who are now forced to prepare their own meals!

My mother lives here and I can happily say that these apartments and the adjoining businesses are great. Everyone is kind and professional in the apartments. They really are self sustaining as there is not only a cafeteria and seated restaurant but a full deli and pharmacy. I was greatly relieved to see all the amenities, pool, laundry and TV room. Thanks to all at Les Cascades.
