One worker told a patient that "they don't need to provide care to her because she is English". Disgraceful.

Very sad conditions. Rooms are depressing and deplorable, bathrooms are unhygienic with many flies and trash overflowing . Residents are left to sit alone in the hall way. Watching them get fed was a sad sight to see, with employees ramming massive spoonfuls of food in their mouths, while they haven't finished their previous bite. some Residents are unable to feed themselves, yet they are left alone and end up unable to eat. Sadly, there is also a lack of social interactions overall unless a family member is present. Requesting any medical assistance or information from the so-called doctor, is virtually impossible, as we are constantly told he is on vacation, for months on end, and the nurses can't do anything. Dietary restrictions or accommodations are completely disregarded. Do not leave anything of any value as it will go missing and never found.

My relative got their phone removed because apparently they were making too many calls? Maybe from calling the staff too much? But how about making calls to the family? We have no way of communicating with this relative and have to call the whole establishment to relay important information with them. It is difficult to get in touch with the social worker. On top of it, I am an English speaker and it is difficult to find help while I am visiting there.

I was so impressed with the attention my mom got during her convalescence there. Staff obviously like working with each other, and for their patients. Mom liked it much better than the private place she stayed in first. January, 2021. Mom spent time there from September 2020 to January as a longterm-care resident. Mom and I have nothing but praise for the staff. They were so devoted and attentive. As the room was small and unattractive, and other residents noisy, Mom moved to apartment in a private place. But we'll never forget the high level of care she received here. Angels.

My mother lived here for almost 5 years and she was always treated with care and compassion. Most of the staff are wonderful people, but in all that time, I have to admit I came across one or two staff members that could have done a better job, but on the whole, its a great place! They do a good job, considering they are short staffed and over-worked most times.
