CHSLD du Boisé Sainte-Thérèse

My mother was placed in the Boisé Saint-Thérèse facility for two years and died of poisoning. Please provide any expired food you have if you have relatives who were placed there. Thank you.

My grandfather stayed there for about two months (June-July 2025) before finally spending his final days there, as planned. The staff were attentive, smiling, helpful, and friendly. Although the building was under renovation, the premises were quite clean. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The residents we met all seemed well cared for as well. Thank you for welcoming and supporting us as you did.

My mother was placed in this center in mid-July and on December 1st she entered the hospital for pneumonia. But to our surprise she had a huge and very deep bed sore. It took exactly 1 year to treat her. In this center the care is unacceptable. The attendants are always on their cell phones, the users are always dirty and the smell can be terrible. I wouldn't even send my dog ​​to this place.

If you can avoid this place, then I suggest you do... My mom ended up there after a hospital stay for a broken shoulder, and was supposed to get "rehabilitation" before being placed in a permanent place... Now, of course there are employees there that care about what they do and treat the residents as humans and are great, but unfortunately they don't outweigh the bad ones... Refusing to speak to a resident because they are English and we are in Quebec... How they treat end of life residents is absolutely despicable... And refusing family the right to be with their loved one during their last moments... That's how this place will be remembered (minus the few who tried to make the situation better)
