CHSLD - Hôpital de Papineau

As all the other recent posts said: came here for an escalating heart palpation. Waited eight hours, never saw a doctor. Had two blood samples and an x-ray without a word about what might be wrong. Rude staff (que ça soit anglais ou français, le comportement n'est juste simplement pas là du tout). Avoid at all costs.

From start to finish, their professionalism and kindness made a real difference. One small but memorable gesture was being offered a warm blanket—it may seem simple, but it brought great comfort and showed the thoughtful care your team provides. Kudos to all the nurses who helped make my experience a positive one.

I’m not even going to rate this hospital my fiancée came yesterday cause he had his leg hurt real bad and couldn’t move at move at all the doctors didn’t see him till midnight and keep him there for the night and this morning the nurse said that he was being dramatic when the try and walk and fall on the floor . The staff is really rude rude and don’t give any good service Gatineau and hull hospital are way more better than this one . Don’t come here . This hospital deserves 0 star ratings

I was brought here by ambulance nearly 6 hours ago. For a possible ligament tear. I'm still here, haven't seen a doctor the staff is extremely rude. I was told that I walk. I can barely crawl to use the toilet. When my wife asked where I was on the list they said t3 but they are passing t4 that have been here for 10 hours. When I was on the floor crying in pain they told me to get up and wait. If I had the means I would of asked to be transferred. It shows that they don't care.

If you’re wondering why it’s taking so long , all the nurses and some doctors are at the nurse station talking about how drunk and high they got at someone’s cottage last weekend. ( I personally witnessed this ) In a +12 hour stay under observation, I was told I was faking it , only They’re for pain meds ( I never asked for any ) and the nurses checked on me ohhh wait no they didn’t I had to get up limp over there myself. The doctors aren’t better I heard them talk so much crap about patients that were there . Very dirty hospital , was given so much attitude when I asked to get my regular daily meds . I could go on but you get the picture and of course reports will be made . No one should be treated the way I was treated. Unprofessional and straight up bullying. Do yourself a favour and keep driving way past of you need to be seen by someone . I’m pretty sure they send all the rude and unwanted staff fo that place.
