My mother just arrived there and she received a wonderful, warm welcome; everyone was smiling ♡ It's reassuring

My father-in-law was recently admitted to this CHSLD. All the staff on the 4th floor that we met are welcoming, empathetic, and attentive. Many activities are organized for the residents. The food is very good, according to my father-in-law.

The double room was very small. Visitors could only use a folding chair. There were no comfortable chairs for the patient. The hallways and toilets reeked of urine. On the plus side, the food seemed good.

This center has two fantastic things going for it: the personnel and the food, otherwise the hallways and rooms look dingy and dirty. No personal bathrooms and cramped spaces for the patients.Bring your own TV if you want to be entertained and then call VIdeotron for service. Obviously the technical aspects are as old as the building itself. The attendants and nurses are always on the ball, though. Very polite and attentive.

Great place with a storied name.
