CHSLD Louis-Riel

My mother has been here since August and she likes it; she says they take good care of her. She also likes the food; she says it's warm. Sometimes they do her nails, which is a little treat.

The staff are incredible, they take such good care of my husband. Even during Covid they made efforts so that I could talk with him on the phone or FaceTime, unlike many other places where people had no idea how their loved ones were. They are extremely careful regarding Covid protocols snd haven’t had a case in almost a year! Nor has there been the usual gastro or flu which is like an annual event in any home for the elderly. I did not want my husband in a home but I am so thankful that this is the one he is in.

My dear mother loved it, she supervised me well, always had her treats and cookies in her drawers 😋 They always knew where she was 🥰. I was so anxious about leaving Mom there 😬😢😭 The head nurse saw me crying as I was leaving!! She comforted me 💞 and told me to calm down after 22 calls on my cell phone. She said she'd be OK 🙏 She was right 😇🙏

I am very skeptical about this place!! Each time I visit there is always a new person that passes away! They are short of staff and now there is an epidemic of gastro on all four floors..I haven't see my relative in over a week! This is not normal!! Has anyone else worried about this place?? If so please make a complaint!! This is very serious I am ready to have a major lawsuit with this place!!

The people who work here are extremely nice. Caring and attentive staff. They are angels.
